Will the purchasing managers’ index slide for a tenth straight month on Wednesday? It’s PMI day on Wednesday for Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Business conditions in Egypt as suggested by the purchasing managers’ index slid for the ninth straight month in the June edition of the Emirates NBD / Markit PMI for Egypt. The House Economic Committee will hold a special meeting this week on the FX crisis, with an eye to issuing recommendations to the government on how to tackle it, Al Masry Al Youm reports.
