Reactions from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Al Azhar to French magazine Charlie Hebdo republishing its controversial comics of Prophet Mohamed earned some digital ink in the foreign press over the weekend. El Sisi said that freedom of expression should not offend over 1.5 bn people, reports Reuters, while Al Azhar called on the international community to criminalize “anti-Muslim” actions.
