Last Night’s Talk Shows: Development projects in South Sudan + artefact assessment wraps up

Infrastructure diplomacy with South Sudan: Egypt is leading three planned infrastructure projects South Sudan, including the rehabilitation of an electricity station, clearing canals in Bahr El Ghazal, and a five-star hotel in the capital city of Juba, Al Hayah Al Youm’s Mohamed Sherdy noted (watch, runtime: 3:07). The Prosecutor General’s office wrapped up its inspection of 5k artifacts and other historic and artistic items belonging to a Zamalek resident, and determined that nearly 1,400 of these pieces are artifacts and will be given to the Supreme Council of Antiquities, Sherdy reported (watch, runtime: 2:41).
