THE MARKET ON THURSDAY: The EGX30 ended Thursday’s session up 1.1%. CIB, the index heaviest constituent ended up 1.9%. EGX30’s top performing constituents were Madinet Nasr Housing up 3.7%, Elsewedy Electric up 3.3%, and Arab Cotton Ginning up 3.0%. Thursday’s worst performing stocks were QNB Alahli down 1.6%, Ezz Steel down 1.3%, and EFG Hermes down 1.2%. Market turnover was EGP 858 mn, and local investors were the sole net sellers.
