A very quiet day for Egypt in the international press sees human rights stories take center stage. First, a coalition of rights groups are slamming France for “participating in the bloody Egyptian repression of the past five years” by supplying the country with weapons, Euronews reports. The objections come as Defense Minister Mohamed Zaky made his way to Paris yesterday for cooperation talks with several French officials, according to an Armed Forces statement.
