EGX30’s top performing constituents were Ezz Steel up 5.5%; AMOC up 3.4%; and Egyptian Iron & Steel up 3.1%. Yesterday’s worst performing stocks were Orascom Telecom Media & Technology down 1.4%; Egyptian Resorts down 0.6%; and Elsewedy Electric down 0.5%. The market turnover was EGP 1.2 bn, and foreign investors were the sole net buyers.
