CNN helpfully explains that “Adults don’t get it, and that’s the point,” but the best thing you can do while weathering your nine-year-old’s entreaties to “just Amazon one, please, ya daddy” is to go to the Financial Times and take solace from reading that you’re not alone: “Fidget spinner craze turns the toy industry on its head,” it reports.
