El Sisi-Macron talks lead the conversation in the foreign press

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s visit to Paris for talks with Emmanuel Macron led coverage of Egypt in the foreign press over the weekend. We have more on the visit in this morning’s Diplomacy section, below. (AFP | Associated Press | Asharq Alawsat)

Also featuring heavily in the news: A radiographer scanned the head of an ancient Egyptian mummy — found in the UK in someone’s attic — to learn more about its origins. The head was found to have belonged to an adult female whose brain was removed, and is estimated to be around 2k years old.
