THE MARKET ON THURSDAY: The EGX30 ended Thursday’s session up 1.3%. CIB, the index’s heaviest constituent, ended up 1.0%. EGX30’s top performing constituents were Porto Group up 6.8%, Ezz Steel up 5.9%, and Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals up 4.7%. Thursday’s worst performing stocks were Eastern Co down 0.3%, EFG Hermes down 0.1% and Orascom Construction down 0.1%. The market turnover was EGP 1.1 bn, and local investors were the sole net buyers.
