Full text of El Sisi UNSC speech released: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi addressed the United Nations Security Council last Wednesday during its Summit on Syria, as we previously noted, The full text of his speech was made available on Saturday from Ittihadiya. In what appears to be a veiled reference to the apparently cosmetic rebranding of Al Qaeda affiliate Jabhat al Nusra, El Sisi says, “Yes, there should be no place for terrorism in Syria, and no room for attempts to re-brand the terrorist organizations.” El Sisi went on to further say “So, let me be absolutely honest with you.
